Reply Ready Growth · For cybersecurity consultancies and vendors

Reach security-minded organisations with a message that never overreaches.

Growth reads what organisations publish about themselves, such as regulatory wording, a named data protection officer or a security hire, and keeps that apart from anything it assumes. It never tests, scans or comments on anyone's systems.

This page is about you finding your customers. The businesses, people and messages shown are invented for illustration. No customer has endorsed Growth and nothing here is a live result.

1 · Target businesses

Who a security firm might look for

These are example kinds of organisation a security consultancy could describe in a targeting profile. Growth reads public pages only. It does not look for weaknesses and it will not say an organisation is insecure.

FCA-regulated and financial firms

Wealth managers, brokers and lenders with clear regulatory duties on their own pages.

Look for: regulatory status stated on the site, a compliance or risk role, certification mentions.

Healthcare and care providers

Providers handling sensitive personal data and publishing privacy information.

Look for: a named data protection officer, privacy pages, patient portal mentions.

Software and data suppliers

Firms selling to larger customers who ask for security assurance in tenders.

Look for: security or trust pages, customer questionnaires mentioned, certification goals.

Education and public-sector suppliers

Trusts, colleges and their suppliers working under data and safeguarding expectations.

Look for: published policies, procurement notices that mention security standards.

An example. You write your own profile, and one allowance is shared across up to five profiles.

2 · Buying roles

Security is owned by different people in different firms

In many mid-sized organisations there is no CISO. Growth names a role only where a public page states it, and marks the source.

If you sellPenetration testing and assurance

  • Head of IT
  • CISO or Head of Information Security
  • Head of Risk and Compliance

Testing is usually commissioned where security is already someone's job.

If you sellVirtual CISO and advisory

  • Managing Director or CEO
  • Chief Operating Officer
  • Data Protection Officer

Without a CISO, the board-level sponsor is often the COO or the MD.

If you sellAwareness training

  • HR Director
  • Compliance Manager
  • Head of IT

Training is bought by the person responsible for staff or for policy.

If you sellManaged detection and response

  • Head of IT
  • Security Lead
  • Operations Director

Where a security hire is advertised, the team is being built.

A role is shown as Confirmed only when a public page states it. Otherwise it is a Hypothesis or Unknown. Growth never guesses an email address.

3 · Evidence for fit

Evidence you can quote, and a firm line on what you cannot

What Growth looks for

  • Regulatory status, privacy and data pages the organisation published itself
  • A named security, risk or data protection role, with the page it appears on
  • Certification goals or tender wording that mentions security standards
  • Security or compliance roles being advertised, which show where the team is heading

What it will not claim

  • That an organisation is vulnerable or has been breached: Growth never probes, scans or tests
  • That a certification is held unless the organisation says so, and then only as its own statement
  • Any urgency or fear: first messages stay specific and sober

Every reason carries a basis: Confirmed from a saved page, Hypothesis which is reasoning, or Unknown which is simply not found.

4 · Outreach preparation

A first message grounded in what they published

The draft below is an example, written from the sample record for Lumen Ledger Software. Growth drafts from the saved research; you edit, approve or skip.

Example draftTo: Chief Operating Officer, Ashgrove Wealth Partners
Hello, I read that Ashgrove is authorised and regulated and describes how it handles client data. We provide independent security testing for wealth managers. Would a short conversation be useful?

What the draft is built from

  • Their own statement about the certification they are working towards
  • One way you could help with that goal
  • No claim about their systems and no fear

What you control

  • You edit, approve or skip every draft
  • You send it yourself, from your own email
  • Nothing is sent in bulk and nothing is sent without your approval

5 · Replies, follow-ups and pipeline

Longer cycles need a steady, honest follow-up

Security buying is slow and often tied to an audit, a tender or a budget year. Growth keeps the reply, the date they gave you and the original evidence together.

  1. Message sentYou send the approved draft from your own email.
  2. Reply recorded“Audit is in the autumn. Talk in August.”
  3. Follow-up setA reminder for August with the earlier evidence beside it.
  4. Scoping callQualified after a call, with the scope you agreed written down.

The four stages in the workspace are Researched Contacted Replied Qualified. Examples above are illustrative. No reply rates or results are claimed.
